Bloated egos and dog parks
To the Editor:
Well, here we go on the dog park issue again. Ho, hum.
It seems to me we should have left the issue of sleeping dogs and Costa Bella Park lie. But our fabulous City Council majority, led by Mr. Fabulous himself, Mayor John Shoals, had to revisit the issue.
It seems political clowns always have to assert themselves and their bloated egos, let off steam, perhaps get animal services involved, tread into previously charted grounds once again, and reopen old wounds. When dealing with dogs, they better watch where they step.
I’m not a dog owner, but I agree they need an appropriate place to play and run. Other cities have seen the need, but not here in Grover Beach.
Bloated egos can’t fathom simple solutions. The same holds true for other issues that come up within the city. If they hadn’t thought of it, or previously made their wishes known, then they don’t want it.
Oh well, here we go again. When will it ever end? Perhaps, only when we vote those bloated egos out of office and replace them with saner ones.
