Get your own dog park

My wife and I got a few good laughs Friday morning reading the editorials from your readers who live in Arroyo Grande complaining about us who live in Grover Beach not wanting their dogs in our park.

They have more land than we do--spend your money on your own park. In the past, we used to take our grandkids to the park. One day we encountered someone with his dog and he was allowing the dog to dig up the park. I asked him to stop his dog from digging and was told to mind my own business. We have not used the park since then.

Also, try coming by the park around 4 p.m. The cars are lined up for blocks. You have to be really careful when you drive by. People bring their dogs and forget about others who drive by, causing concern for us watching out for their unsafe driving actions. It is still being used by dog owners who allow their dogs to roam freely.
